Os UWC (United World Colleges ou Colégios do Mundo Unidos) são uma organização fundada em 1962, inspirada pelas ideias e ideais do pedagogo alemão Dr. Kurt Hahn. Este acreditava que as hostilidades entre países podiam ser superadas através da convivência entre jovens de diferentes nações, religiões, etc. Atualmente os UWC contam com 16 colégios espalhados por todo o mundo. Cada qual adapta-se ao ambiente circundante, o que leva a que haja pequenas diferenças entre eles, contudo os pilares são os mesmos para todas as escolas, bem como o programa lecionado: o IB. O International Baccalaureate visa lecionar disciplinas de diversas áreas de modo a formar alunos multifacetados e com uma multiplicidade de valências.

UWC (United World Colleges) is an organization founded in 1962 inspired by the ideals of German educationalist, Dr Kurt Hahn. He believed that hostilities between countries could be overcome with the conviviality of youngsters from different nations, religions, etc. There are currently 16 UWC schools around the world.
Each one tries to adapt to their surroundings, that creats small differences between them, nevertheless the pillars are the same for all, as well as the system taught: the IB. The International Baccalaureate aims to teach different subjects so that students become knowledgeable in a multitude of areas.
O UWC Changshu foi o 15º colégio UWC a abrir. Fundado em 2015, é o 2º UWC na China. Situa-se na cidade de Changshu nas margens do lago Kuncheng. Todo a estrutura do colégio e do campus foi inspirada na arquitetura tradiconal chinesa. Abaixo encontram-se algumas fotos retiradas do facebook do colégio.

UWC Changshu was the 15th UWC to open. Founded in 2015, it is the 2nd UWC in China. It is located in the city of Changshu near the borders of the Kuncheng lake providing the school with beautiful surroundings. The structure of the school and the campus was inspired by the traditional chinese arquitecthure. Below are some photos taken from the school´s facebook.
